The inspiration for this neighborhoodโs name came from John Audubon, an American naturalist. One of the most attractive aspects of the Audubon Park neighborhood is its serenity, thanks to abundant green spaces and large parks. This area is part of the Minneapolisโ Northeast community. Its boundaries are Saint Anthony Parkway (to the north), Stinson Boulevard (to the east), Lowry Avenue (to the south), and Central Avenue (to the west).
This neighborhood is predominantly residential. Many consider it one of the finest places to live in Southwest Minneapolis because of its peaceful existence. From Audubon Park, it is a walking distance to downtown Minneapolis, great local shops, the Mall of America, the lakes, and the airport.
