We offer free, durable moving boxes or you can use your own.  We understand that some people prefer to pack themselves so we have come up with a list of tips to ensure that you have the most successful packing possible.

• Don’t overfill your boxes.  They should be able to close easily.
• Pack your belongings room by room and label as you go for easier identification.
• Tape boxes on both ends (using 2 inch tape) and at every opening.
• Wrap fragile items in two layers of unprinted newspaper and make sure to provide extra cushioning for fragile items.
• Do NOT use printed newspaper for china or lamp shades – the ink will damage these items.
• By law, AAA Movers cannot transport any hazardous materials of any kind, so place them in a plastic container and transport them in your vehicle.
• Personal valuable, such as important papers and jewelry, should be transported by customers and will not be covered by AAA Movers.
• Start packing the items you will need first before the others.  Make sure the movers put them in last.
• Make sure valuables are clearly marked on the box and inventoried properly by an AAA Mover Team Leader.
